Photos from our Safari trip in South-Africa in 2010. We had a great time in Pilanesbarg national park just outside of Pretoria. The whole area is protected and you can go on guided tours, and we have done that twice. Every time a great experience. We learned later that “Steroids” was put to sleep as he harassed many visitors to the reserve and he enjoyed playing with the cars. Sad story but understandable.
The big elephant, named “Steroids” almost pushed us off the road. We have made a video of the whole incident that is on YouTube, please have a look:
